Long Story Short

Home Sweet Home Care is a locally owned, non-franchised, in-home care business for seniors and individuals with disabilities. At HSHC we are proud to offer service options to our community that aren’t available in many areas. It is truly our passion to enrich the lives of seniors.

All of our Caregivers are direct employees of Home Sweet Home Care. Our Caregivers are carefully screened, trained, bonded, insured, undergo thorough background checks, and are covered by the Worker’s Compensation Board. Our screening process is based on hiring only those who we would have in our own home, caring for our own parents.

The services provided are varied and encompass respite, companionship, homemaking, outdoor maintenance, and personal care. In addition, we offer no-cost, no-obligation in-home consultations.


Assistance is available around the clock, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. However, requests for urgent service will be handled at any time.

As for me, I am a Home Sweet Home Care’s Owner and Primary Manager. With my grandparents in mind, I worked night and day to start this company from the ground up. I was born and raised locally, and I love this area. I’m truly passionate about our mission, goals, and the service we provide.

Why In-Home Care?

In-home care is an alternative to living in a facility. As you could imagine, most senior citizens would prefer to live in their own home as long as possible, for many different reasons. At home, they can go to the same church, visit the same friends and family, mind to their garden and flower bed, and live in the comfort and privacy of their own home.

-We are NOT affiliated with a large franchise! This allows us to charge our clients less while paying our employees an above industry average.

-Our contracts aren’t binding to any length of service! Many companies in our industry require you to sign a contract guaranteeing a certain length of service. Here at HSHC, we feel that if you need to cancel services that is your RIGHT! (And then we’ll be happy to advise you on a great home health agency, long term care facility, or whatever your next need maybe!)

-Our staff! Our retention rate is nearly unprecedented in our industry with 75% of our staff remaining with us for over 3 years now!
